How to Rank in ChatGPT and Google AI Answers (2026)
How to rank in ChatGPT and appear in Google AI Overviews: a five-step method with crawler checks, fact clean-up and a monthly question test. No guarantees.
AEO & GEO
We make your business easy for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers to find, understand and describe correctly.
Overview
AEO services in India help your pages give one clear answer to one clear question, and GEO helps AI assistants describe your whole business correctly. AEO is answer engine optimisation. GEO is generative engine optimisation. Both sit on top of ordinary SEO: if Google cannot index a page, no AI feature built on Google Search will show it.
Here is what is documented. Google's page on AI features in Search says there are no extra requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, and no special schema is needed. OpenAI's bot documentation says a site that blocks OAI-SearchBot will not appear in ChatGPT search answers. Beyond that, nobody outside the model companies knows how sources are chosen, and we do not pretend to. We work on the parts you can control: what your pages say, how consistent your facts are, and who else talks about you.
As a GEO agency in India with clients in Delhi NCR, Dubai and the US, we start with a simple test. We ask the assistants the questions your buyers ask, write down what comes back, and repeat it every month. That log is your honest scoreboard. It shows what is said about you, what is wrong, and which sources the assistants cite instead of you.

Signs you need it
If one of these sounds familiar, you are in the right place.
Not sure which part you need?
Tell us the goal in two lines. We reply within 12 hours with an honest answer and a budget range.
| Topic | Typical agency | Astrafolio |
|---|---|---|
| Who you talk to | Usually an account manager who passes messages on | The person building your project |
| Meetings | Often a status call every week or two | Every 2–3 working days, plus milestone reviews |
| Ownership | Often held in the agency's own accounts | Code and accounts always in your name |
| After launch | Usually fixes billed by the hour | 30 days of fixes included |
Typical = common practice, which varies by agency. Indicative rates.
See the full comparisonHow we work
You always know what is happening, what it costs and what comes next.
We learn your goals and constraints, then give a straight answer on fit, budget and timeline.
Scope, milestones and price in writing, shaped around your budget, with the named team who will do the work.
Wireframes and Figma designs reviewed together. Nothing gets built until you approve it.
Working software every week on staging, with a walkthrough and a shared channel.
QA, performance and accessibility checks, then deployment into accounts you own.
30 days of fixes included, then optional retainers so the work keeps compounding.
Pricing
Flexible on scope. Firm on price. Prices are indicative starting points: we shape the plan around your budget, and once we agree in writing, the price does not change.
AI Search Check
A one-off look at where you stand. Good if you want facts before you decide on a longer plan.

We cannot promise that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google will name you, link to you or rank you. You cannot buy a place in an AI answer, answers differ by person and by day, and the systems change without notice. We promise the work: the tests, the fixes, the schedule and an honest report of what moved and what did not.
Quick answers
The things people ask right after they see a price.
AEO is about a single question: your page gives the direct answer, so it can be lifted into a snippet, a voice reply or the first line of an AI answer. GEO is about the whole picture: what an assistant knows and says about your business when it writes a paragraph. Most of the work overlaps, so we plan them together and report on both.
It depends on how many pages and locations are involved and how much clean-up your listings need. The three packages on this page are indicative, and we agree one fixed price in writing before starting. We can shape the scope around your budget, for example by starting with the check only.

Still have a question?
Thirty minutes with us usually answers everything, including whether we are the right fit.
You cannot rank in the way you rank on Google, because ChatGPT writes an answer and chooses its own sources. What you can do is make sure OAI-SearchBot is not blocked in your robots.txt, as OpenAI's bot documentation says blocked sites will not appear in ChatGPT search answers. Then make your pages specific and quotable, keep your facts consistent, and earn mentions elsewhere.
No. Google's documentation on AI features in Search says there are no additional requirements and no special schema.org markup for these features. A page has to be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet. We still add schema, because it helps Google understand the page, but we never sell it as an AI shortcut.
We agree a fixed list of 20 to 30 questions your buyers ask, then run the same list in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI answers on a set schedule. Each answer is saved with the date, whether you were named, what was said and which sources were cited. A fixed list matters: it lets us compare month to month instead of reacting to one lucky answer.
You own the rewritten pages, the schema code, the fact sheet, the prompt-test log and every saved answer. Your Google Business Profile stays in your name and we only ask for manager access. If we stop, the tracking sheet keeps working and your team can re-run the same prompts without us.
Yes, and local is where we start. Many assistants answer local questions from your Google Business Profile, reviews and directory listings, so those get fixed first. We write local prompts the way people phrase them, such as a request for a clinic or an agency near a named area, and test those in particular.
