Where to find your cost per click
Open Google Keyword Planner inside your Google Ads account, add the searches your customers type, set your country or city, and look at the top-of-page bid range. Google describes these as estimates of what advertisers have paid; they are a starting point, not a promise. Use the middle of the range for a first budget and correct it after two to four weeks of real data.
Your real cost per click also depends on how good your ad and landing page are. Google's auction rewards relevant ads, so a well-matched ad can pay less per click than a weaker one bidding more. That is why the same keyword can cost two businesses very different amounts.
