Want this done for you? See our white-label tiktok shop management service, or send us a brief.
White label TikTok Shop means an agency sells the service to its own client, and another team does the daily work under the agency's name. The client deals with you. The partner stays in the background, works inside the client's own shop and accounts, and writes reports in your format.
This is for agencies and brands in markets where TikTok Shop is live. TikTok is blocked in India and TikTok Shop is not available here, so we cannot run it for Indian customers. We are an Indian team that works on shops in other markets, and we say that on the first call. We make no claim of TikTok partner status.
What does white label mean for TikTok Shop?
It means you keep three things: the client, the strategy and the invoice. The partner takes the production work that eats your team's week. For a shop that is listing updates, product videos, creator outreach, ad campaign upkeep and monthly reports.
It is the same idea as the white label ads work agencies already buy for Google and Meta, applied to a channel with more moving parts. If your client asked for TikTok Shop and no one on your team has run one, our white label TikTok Shop service covers that work.
Two clarifications, because the term gets misused.
- White label is not hidden accounts. The client's shop and ad accounts stay in the client's name. The partner is a collaborator with access you grant, not an owner.
- White label is not a promise of results. The partner can do the work properly. TikTok decides approvals, fees and what is allowed, and shoppers decide what they buy.
Who does what: agency and partner
Use this grid as a starting point for the agreement. Each row should have one clear owner.
| Task | Your agency does | The partner does |
|---|---|---|
| Client relationship, calls, invoicing | Yes | No contact unless you ask |
| Strategy, goals, monthly priorities | Sets them | Advises when asked |
| Seller account application | Leads, with the client | Prepares the checklist and reviews listings against TikTok's rules |
| Listings: titles, images, descriptions | Approves | Writes and updates |
| Short video | Approves the brief and the final cut | Scripts, shot lists, editing, posting |
| Creator and affiliate outreach | Approves commission and samples | Finds fits, sends invites, tracks replies |
| Shop ads | Agrees the budget with the client | Builds and adjusts campaigns inside it |
| Reports | Sends to the client | Writes them with your logo and wording |
| Customer messages and orders | Usually the client | Only if scoped in writing |
If a row has two owners, someone will assume the other one did it.
How do the client's accounts stay in their name?
The client registers the seller account and the ad account themselves, with their business details. They add your partner as a collaborator, through the access options inside the TikTok tools. Because the options differ by market and change over time, check what your shop's Seller Center offers before you promise a setup, and give each person only the access the job needs.
A few habits make this safe.
- The client is the only account owner and holds the payout details.
- Every partner login is personal, never a shared password.
- You can remove access in minutes if the relationship ends.
- The client's creator and sales data remains theirs.
This is also the best test of any partner. If they ask to run the shop from their own account, say no.
How does branded reporting work?
TikTok Shop reporting means you tell the client what happened in plain words. The partner writes it, you send it. It should carry your logo, your layout and your tone, and the numbers come from the client's own TikTok tools, so they can check them.
A useful monthly report has five parts:
- Orders and sales from the shop, as the TikTok tools show them
- What was posted: videos, and LIVE sessions if any
- Creator activity: invited, replied, samples sent, and what resulted
- Ad spend against the budget, and what it did
- What changed, what we suggest next, and what we need from the client
Leave out numbers you cannot trace to a TikTok screen. If a figure is an estimate, label it as one.
What should you agree before you start?
Write these down before any work begins.
| Item | What to settle |
|---|---|
| Scope | What is included each month, and what is not |
| Response times | How fast the partner replies, and what counts as urgent |
| Creative approval | Who signs off every video, and how many rounds of edits |
| Who talks to the client | You only, or the partner on certain calls |
| Confidentiality | An NDA that covers your clients and your terms |
| Non-solicitation | The partner does not approach your clients directly |
| Access | Which logins, who grants them, who removes them |
| Ending | Notice period and a handover of every file and list |
Our reply promise is 12 hours, Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 21:00 IST. For a shop in a different time zone, work out which of your own deadlines fall outside those hours and plan around them. We do not claim overlap beyond what is true, and no partner should.
Why would an agency use an Indian team?
For one reason in particular: the work happens inside the client's accounts and needs no one on the ground. Listings, scripts, editing, outreach lists and ad upkeep can all be done from anywhere. That is a fair reason to look at a team in Noida, and a fair reason to ask hard questions about how we work.
What we cannot do is act as a local presence. We are not in your client's market, and we do not do work that needs it, such as receiving stock or hosting an in-person event. For wider background on this way of working, see how to outsource web development to India. The same points on contracts and communication apply.
What are the risks, and how do you manage them?
| Risk | How to manage it |
|---|---|
| The partner holds the accounts | Insist the client owns every account |
| Quality slips as you add clients | Start with one shop, add more only after a review |
| Creative off brand | Written brand notes and approval of every video |
| Missed deadlines | Agree response times, and a named contact |
| Client contacted directly | Non-solicitation clause and a single point of contact |
| Policy mistakes cause a strike on the shop | Partner follows TikTok's rules and flags risk early |
| Over-promising to the client | Never promise sales, approval or creator replies |
The last row is yours to control. Do not sell a result you cannot deliver.
How do you test a partner with one shop?
Start small and make it measurable.
- Pick one client with a clear product line and reasonable margin.
- Agree a three-month scope and a monthly review call.
- Set what you will judge: on-time delivery, listing quality, video you would be proud to send, a tidy creator list, a readable report.
- Look at what changed in the shop, not only what was done.
- After the review, decide whether to add a second shop.
Treat sales as one signal among several. A shop can have a quiet first month for reasons that have nothing to do with the work.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an NDA to work with a white label partner?
Yes, and you should have it before you share a client's name or account details. It should cover your clients, your pricing and any materials. Pair it with a non-solicitation clause so the partner does not approach your clients.
Will my client know a partner is involved?
That is your decision. Many agencies present the partner as part of their own team, while others name them. Either way, the client's accounts remain theirs and the partner is added as a collaborator, so be careful about what you tell the client about access.
Can a white label partner guarantee sales?
No. Sales depend on the product, the price, the shop's approval status and what shoppers do. A good partner will report what happened and suggest what to change.
What if my client's market does not have TikTok Shop yet?
Then there is nothing to run. Check TikTok's seller site for the client's country first. Availability changes and sellers register market by market, so a list in a blog post is not enough to plan on.
How many shops should I start with?
One. It lets you judge the quality, the communication and the reports before your clients depend on them. Add more once the first review goes well.
