UK GDPR and your data
If you handle personal data of people in the UK, UK GDPR applies to you. When we process it for you, you will want a contract that says so. We offer to sign a data processing agreement that you provide, and we read it carefully before we do.
We hold no certification, and we do not claim any. Your data and accounts stay in your name. We send the model only what the task needs, use provider settings where data is not used for training, and tell you where the provider processes it. Ask your own adviser about international transfers, since we work from India.
Audit, prototype, production, monitoring
We begin with an audit of the software and data, and we tell you plainly if a simpler fix would do. Then a two-week prototype on your own examples, so you judge it by what it does.
Next comes the production build and handover. After launch we monitor cost per month, accuracy on a sample and any made-up answers. Guardrails keep the model to your content, and uncertain questions go to a person. You get 30 days of fixes.
Contracts, invoices and VAT
We bill by milestone, never all upfront, and invoice in US dollars. Please confirm with your own accountant how VAT applies to services from an overseas supplier.
You own the code, prompts and every account from day one. We have no UK office, and we deliver everything online with written documentation.

How a project runs

Contract and payment terms
- A written proposal comes first. Scope, deliverables, milestones, price and timeline, in writing. Work starts when you accept it.
- The price does not move. Once agreed, the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. Changes to scope are quoted as a written change request and only built once you approve them.
- You pay by milestone. Projects are paid in milestones set in your proposal. No project is billed in full upfront. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless your agreement says otherwise.
- You own the work. Code, designs and accounts are registered to your company from day one. We keep our own pre-existing tools and methods.
- No lock-in. Either side can end a project with written notice, and you pay for the work done up to then. Retainers run month to month with 30 days written notice.
- 30 days of fixes after launch. Defects in what we delivered are fixed for 30 days after launch. New features and third-party changes are quoted separately.
Personal data and a team in India
If your project touches personal data about people in the UK, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to you, and sending that data to a supplier in another country is a transfer the ICO has guidance on.
- We write down, before work starts, which personal data we would see, where it lives and who has access.
- We work inside your accounts and tools, so the data stays where you keep it, and you can remove our access at any time.
- Whether a transfer to India needs extra safeguards depends on your setup. Your own adviser decides; we supply what they need to ask.
- For marketing messages, the UK has its own rules on email and SMS consent (PECR). We build consent capture, and you stay responsible for who you message.
