Cost without the hidden catch

A UK agency's price includes local office costs and large teams. A small senior offshore team charges less for the same scope. Our Starter first release is from $12,000, a Growth app is $15,000 to $35,000 and Premium apps are $35,000 to $80,000 or more. We quote in US dollars and do not convert from pounds, so your bank's exchange rate applies when you pay.

Compare scope before you compare price. A cheap quote that leaves out testing, store submission or the back-end is not cheaper, it is unfinished.

UK GDPR and your users' data

If your app collects names, emails or location, UK GDPR applies to how you handle that data wherever your developers sit. We keep customer data in accounts you own, ask only for the access a task needs and build consent and data deletion into the app. We do not claim any compliance certification.

We are not lawyers, so confirm your obligations, and whether you need a data processing agreement, with your own adviser. We are happy to sign one you provide.

Your code, your accounts

The code lives in your GitHub organisation from the first week. The Apple Developer and Google Play accounts are opened in your company's name, and builds are signed with keys you hold. An agreement assigns all intellectual property to you on payment. A non-disclosure agreement comes before any technical conversation.

Cross-platform by default

One codebase for iPhone and Android means one team, one release plan and one set of bugs. We build with React Native (Expo) or Flutter, depending on your product and on who will maintain it. If your app needs deep platform features, we tell you when native code is a better choice.

VAT and payment

We invoice from India in USD. How VAT applies to services bought from an overseas supplier depends on your business and how you are registered, so check the treatment with your own accountant before you sign. Work is paid in milestones, never all upfront, by card, Wise or international bank transfer.

Your data

Personal data and a team in India

If your project touches personal data about people in the UK, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to you, and sending that data to a supplier in another country is a transfer the ICO has guidance on.

  • We write down, before work starts, which personal data we would see, where it lives and who has access.
  • We work inside your accounts and tools, so the data stays where you keep it, and you can remove our access at any time.
  • Whether a transfer to India needs extra safeguards depends on your setup. Your own adviser decides; we supply what they need to ask.
  • For marketing messages, the UK has its own rules on email and SMS consent (PECR). We build consent capture, and you stay responsible for who you message.

  2. The price does not moveOnce agreed, the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. Changes to scope are quoted as a written change request and only built once you approve them.
  3. You pay by milestoneProjects are paid in milestones set in your proposal. No project is billed in full upfront. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless your agreement says otherwise.
  4. You own the workCode, designs and accounts are registered to your company from day one. We keep our own pre-existing tools and methods.
  5. No lock-inEither side can end a project with written notice, and you pay for the work done up to then. Retainers run month to month with 30 days written notice.
  6. 30 days of fixes after launchDefects in what we delivered are fixed for 30 days after launch. New features and third-party changes are quoted separately.
