An offshore mobile app development company is worth it for a US business only if it communicates in writing, shows you working software every week and hands over everything at the end. We build iOS and Android apps from one codebase for US startups and small businesses, from $12,000 USD for a first release, with the price agreed in writing before work starts.

We are a small senior team in Noida, India. We work 09:00 to 21:00 India time, Monday to Saturday, which gives you live calls every US morning, up to 11:30 Eastern in summer and 10:30 in winter. Then we keep building while you sleep, so you wake up to progress. Every message gets a reply within 12 hours.

We do not have a US office. What you get is the senior person who scopes your app also building it, an NDA before the first technical conversation, and full ownership of the code from the first week.

Why US companies look offshore for apps

Cost is the usual reason. Development firms' own cost guides put typical first-version app costs in the US and Canada at $80,000 to $250,000 or more. These are marketing estimates and they vary, but the gap to what a small senior offshore team charges is large. Our Starter first release is from $12,000, and our Premium apps with real-time features and several user roles are $35,000 to $80,000 or more.

The risk is not the rate. It is a team that disappears, ships late or hands over code nobody can maintain. The sections below are how we address those.

Communication that does not depend on overlap

Our day overlaps your Eastern mornings live. For the rest, we work in writing: a shared Slack or Teams channel, a written summary after every call and a weekly demo video, so progress is visible without a meeting.

West Coast teams get a different rhythm. Your evening note lands in our morning, and the work is waiting at the start of your day. If you need someone on a call at 2pm Pacific, we are not the right fit, and we will tell you on the first call.

  • A named lead for your project, not an account manager passing notes
  • A weekly working demo on a real device, not a slide deck
  • Written summary after every call
  • Replies within 12 hours

Your code and your accounts from day one

The code lives in your GitHub organisation from the first week. The Apple Developer and Google Play accounts are opened in your company's name, and builds are signed with keys you hold. An agreement assigns all intellectual property to you on payment. If you stop working with us, you can hand the repository to any other developer the same day.

A non-disclosure agreement comes before any technical conversation. We keep customer data inside accounts you own and ask only for the access a task needs.

Cross-platform by default, native when it matters

Most business apps do not need two separate native codebases. We build with React Native (Expo) or Flutter, so one team ships iOS and Android from one codebase. If the app depends on deep platform features such as advanced camera work, background location or widgets, we tell you when native code is the better choice.

Not sure which framework? Our guide to React Native vs Flutter explains the trade-offs in plain words, and we recommend a framework after seeing your feature list.

What a first release should prove

A US startup spending its first $15,000 to $40,000 on an app needs to learn quickly whether people will use it. We help you cut the first release to the one role and the one action that prove demand. Payments, push notifications, an admin panel and store submission are part of the plan when they serve that goal.

After launch we include 30 days of fixes. Then you can use a monthly support plan with us, or take the code elsewhere.

Contracts and payments US teams expect

Scope, timeline and price are in a written proposal. Work is paid in milestones, never all upfront, by card, Wise or international bank transfer. We invoice from India in USD. How tax applies to a purchase from an overseas supplier depends on your business, so check it with your own accountant before you sign.

Your data

Personal data and a team in India

The US has no single privacy law. What applies to you depends on your sector and your state: health data, children's data and several state privacy laws each have their own rules, and email and text marketing have theirs.

  • We write down which personal data we would see, where it is stored and who has access, and agree it in writing.
  • We work inside your accounts and tools, so you keep control of the data and can remove our access.
  • If you handle health information or serve a regulated sector, tell us on the first call so we can say plainly whether we are the right fit.
  • For email and text follow-up, we build opt-in and opt-out into the workflow (CAN-SPAM and TCPA rules apply to you as the sender).

This is plain-language information about how we work, not legal advice. Please have your own adviser check what applies to your business.

How we contract

Clear terms, before you spend anything

The commercial side in plain words. The full wording is in our terms, and your proposal sets the details.

  1. A written proposal comes firstScope, deliverables, milestones, price and timeline, in writing. Work starts when you accept it.
  2. The price does not moveOnce agreed, the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. Changes to scope are quoted as a written change request and only built once you approve them.
  3. You pay by milestoneProjects are paid in milestones set in your proposal. No project is billed in full upfront. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless your agreement says otherwise.
  4. You own the workCode, designs and accounts are registered to your company from day one. We keep our own pre-existing tools and methods.
  5. No lock-inEither side can end a project with written notice, and you pay for the work done up to then. Retainers run month to month with 30 days written notice.
  6. 30 days of fixes after launchDefects in what we delivered are fixed for 30 days after launch. New features and third-party changes are quoted separately.

Quick answers

About cost and timing

The things people ask right after they see a price.

From us, a first release is from $12,000, a Growth app is $15,000 to $35,000 and Premium apps are $35,000 to $80,000 or more. You get a written quote before work starts. Cost guides from US firms put typical first versions much higher, so compare scope as well as price.

Live calls every US morning, up to 11:30 Eastern in summer and 10:30 in winter. Work continues while you sleep, and we reply to every message within 12 hours.

A first release is typically planned over 8 to 16 weeks, depending on scope. You see a working demo every week.

United States FAQ

Questions about Mobile app development in United States

Cost, timing, trust and ownership, answered before you ask.

Still have a question?

Thirty minutes with us usually answers everything, including whether we are the right fit.

You do. The code lives in your GitHub organisation from week one, the Apple and Google accounts are in your company's name, and an agreement assigns all IP to you on payment.

Yes, before any technical conversation. We also keep customer data inside accounts you own.

Both are good. React Native suits teams with React or TypeScript skills or a React web product. Flutter suits apps that need the same custom look on every device. We recommend one after seeing your features.

You pay in milestones, see working software weekly and hold the code from the start, so problems show early and you can leave with everything. We will tell you plainly if an idea does not need an app.

Yes. We review the code first and tell you plainly whether it is worth fixing or rebuilding.
