In short
What does an ecommerce marketing agency actually do for a D2C brand?
An ecommerce marketing agency should look after the whole path to an order: a fast store, product pages that answer questions, a short checkout, ads built from your product catalogue, search pages that rank for what people buy, and follow-up messages after the sale. If any one of these is weak, spending more on the others mostly fills a leaking bucket.
Who it is for
- D2C brands in India selling through their own Shopify store, with or without marketplaces
- UAE online stores that need checkout, VAT settings and delivery rules done properly
- Stores with steady traffic but too few orders, or too many abandoned carts
- Brands moving off a slow or hard-to-edit store without losing search traffic
- Founders who want one senior team across the store, ads, SEO and WhatsApp instead of four vendors
What goes wrong
Why online stores lose enquiries online
- Ad spend goes up, orders do notCatalogue campaigns are only as good as the product feed and the tracking behind them. When purchases are not reported back to Google and Meta correctly, the platforms optimise for the wrong people and you pay for it.
- Carts get abandoned and nobody follows upA shopper adds to cart, gets distracted and never comes back. Without a reminder flow you lose that order. And if the reminder breaks WhatsApp's rules, you can lose the number's good standing too.
- Product pages leave the buyer guessingSizing, delivery time, return policy and the real price including shipping are what people check before they pay. If those answers are hidden or missing, the visitor opens a marketplace tab and buys there.
- Category pages never show up in searchMany stores rank only for their own brand name. Collection pages are thin, filters create duplicate URLs, and product titles are written for the warehouse rather than for what people type into Google.
- Customers buy once and disappearMost stores spend nearly everything on the first order. There is no post-purchase message, no reorder reminder and no reason to come back, so every sale has to be bought again with ads.
What we build
What we build for online stores
- Shopify stores and custom storefrontsFor most D2C brands we build on Shopify. When the catalogue, pricing rules or integrations truly need more, we build a custom storefront and tell you why in writing. Websites start from INR 30,000 or AED 5,000, with the price agreed in writing first.Learn more
- Product page and checkout fixesWe set up funnel tracking to see where shoppers drop, then fix the pages that lose the most: clear delivery dates, honest shipping costs, size help, reviews and a shorter checkout.Learn more
- Performance Max for your catalogueWe clean your Merchant Center feed, link it to Performance Max and make sure purchases and values are tracked before any budget goes in. Search campaigns stay in the mix where you need tighter control.Learn more
- Meta catalogue adsAdvantage+ catalogue ads show each person products from your catalogue. We connect the catalogue and purchase tracking, then test creative so the right products and offers get the budget.Learn more
- Ecommerce SEOCategory pages written for real searches, product titles people would type, product schema, clean filter URLs and internal links that send authority to the pages that sell.Learn more
- WhatsApp order updates and cart remindersOrder confirmations, shipping updates and opt-in cart reminders sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, with the right template category for each message and replies routed to your team.Learn more

How it works in practice
From first visit to repeat order
- 1
First visit
Someone sees a catalogue ad on Instagram, a Performance Max placement or your category page in Google. They land on a product page that loads fast on a phone and answers price, delivery and returns above the fold.
- 2
Cart and checkout
They add to cart and see the full cost before checkout, with the payment methods they expect: UPI and cards in India, cards and wallets in the UAE, and cash on delivery if you choose to offer it. If they ticked WhatsApp opt-in and leave, an approved reminder goes out later.
- 3
After the order
They get an order confirmation and shipping updates on WhatsApp as utility messages, with no upsell mixed in. Questions about delivery go to a chatbot that checks the order status, or to a person if needed.
- 4
Repeat order
Based on what they bought, they get a timed reorder or 'pairs well with' message, only if they agreed to marketing messages. Their purchase also feeds your ad audiences, so you stop paying to find the same customer again.
Where you are
Working with online stores in India, the UAE and beyond
India
Indian shoppers expect UPI at checkout. UPI is run by the National Payments Corporation of India and links several bank accounts to one mobile app. Cash on delivery is still something many stores offer, and Shopify supports it as a manual payment method, but COD orders bring return-to-origin risk, so we often add a WhatsApp confirmation step before dispatch. The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 expect online sellers to show clear information on returns, refunds, delivery, payment methods and grievances, so we put those on the product and policy pages. The rules have been amended since, so check the current text with your lawyer. Most D2C brands here also sell on marketplaces. We treat that as a trade-off: marketplaces bring buyers and trust, your own store brings margin, customer data and the chance of a repeat order. We plan prices in INR and copy in English, with Hindi where your buyers need it.
UAE
UAE stores need VAT set up correctly from the start. VAT came into effect on 1 January 2018 at a standard rate of 5%, according to the UAE Ministry of Finance, and the Federal Tax Authority sets mandatory registration at AED 375,000 of taxable supplies and imports over 12 months. Your accountant decides your VAT position; we make sure prices, tax settings and invoices on the store match it. Pricing in AED, delivery promises by emirate and clear return terms matter because buyers compare against large regional marketplaces with fast delivery. If your buyers need Arabic, we plan the store for both languages from the start, and our hours cover Dubai's whole working day, 07:30 to 19:30 Dubai time.

Still have a question?
Thirty minutes with us usually answers everything, including whether we are the right fit.
Store builds start from INR 30,000 or AED 5,000, and ads management starts from INR 12,000 or USD 1,200 per month. Your ad budget is separate and paid to Google or Meta directly. We shape the scope around your budget, agree the price in writing first, and it does not change once agreed.
Usually both, with different jobs. Marketplaces bring buyers who are already shopping, but they set the rules and keep the customer relationship. Your own store keeps more margin, gives you customer data and is where repeat orders and WhatsApp follow-up happen. We help you decide what each one is for, rather than pretending one is always right.
For most D2C brands, Shopify. It is quick to launch, easy for your team to run and handles payments well. A custom storefront earns its cost only when your catalogue, pricing rules or integrations need something Shopify cannot do. Our Shopify vs custom guide walks through the trade-offs.
Yes, with conditions. The customer must have opted in to hear from your business by name. Meta classes cart reminders as marketing templates, even when the user asked for them, so they are priced and limited as marketing. Order confirmations and shipping updates can be utility templates if they contain no promotion.
A store build usually takes 3 to 8 weeks. Ads can bring traffic in days, but campaigns need a few weeks of clean purchase data before you judge them. Ecommerce SEO takes months. We give you a dated plan and say plainly what to expect when; we do not promise sales figures.
You do. The Shopify store, domain, payment gateway, Google and Meta ad accounts, Merchant Center, WhatsApp Business account and customer list are all registered to your company. We work inside them with access you can remove at any time, and the custom code we write is yours.
You get a senior team with a fixed price and the hours to match. We are in Noida and work Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 21:00 IST, which covers Dubai's whole working day. For Indian brands we know UPI, COD and marketplace habits first-hand. Every message gets a reply within 12 hours.
Yes. Many stores come to us for conversion work only: tracking, product pages and checkout. We start by measuring where shoppers drop off, then fix the biggest leaks first. If your ads are fine, we leave them alone and tell you so.
