A Shopify development company in Dubai should know what a UAE shopper expects at checkout: prices in dirhams, a choice of how to pay, a delivery promise they believe, and a store that reads naturally in Arabic or English. We build Shopify stores for UAE sellers from AED 6,000, and the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
We are a small senior team in Noida, India, working remotely. We are online from 07:30 to 19:30 Dubai time, Monday to Saturday, so a question at ten in the morning gets answered the same day. Every message gets a reply within 12 hours.
How UAE shoppers pay, and what we connect
Card payments are common, but they are not the whole picture here. Many UAE shoppers also expect cash on delivery for some categories, and buy-now-pay-later services that split a purchase into instalments are well established in the market. Which of these suits your products and margin is a business decision, and it is yours to make.
We do not push a gateway. We connect the payment providers you have chosen and have an account with, set them up in AED, test a real order from start to finish, and show your team how to reconcile payments. Provider fees and approval times are between you and the provider.
- Card gateways, cash on delivery and instalment services that you choose and hold accounts with
- Checkout messages that explain each payment option clearly
- Test orders in each payment method before launch
- A written note of which account belongs to whom
Delivery inside the Emirates
Delivery is where UAE stores win or lose repeat customers. Shoppers want to know whether an order arrives today, tomorrow or in three days, and whether someone will phone before arriving. Addresses here are often written as an area, a building or a landmark, and a working mobile number matters more than a postcode.
We set up shipping zones and rates for the emirates you serve, and connect the local couriers or delivery services you already use, where their integration is available. We design the address form for how people really write addresses here, with area, building and phone as clear fields. Couriers' contracts, rates and cut-off times come from them, not from us.
Arabic and English storefronts
Shopify supports stores in more than one language, but a theme built only for left-to-right text will break when the page flips. We choose or customise a theme that handles right-to-left layout, then check the cart, filters, size guides, emails and product pages in both languages.
Product descriptions in Arabic should be written for shoppers, not machine-translated. Sizes, units and delivery wording also need care. We recommend a native speaker reviews the Arabic before launch, and we plan time for it so it does not delay the whole project.
Invoices, VAT and your accountant
The UAE has VAT, and your invoices and order emails may need to show certain details. We do not give tax advice. What we do is ask your accountant for the exact fields they need, set up the store so prices, tax lines and invoice templates can show them, and test a sample order for them to check.
Treat anything about tax as a point to confirm with your accountant or a licensed adviser before launch. The same applies to consumer terms, returns wording and any data you collect from shoppers. We can place the text you provide, but we do not write legal terms for you.
Migrating or starting fresh, and what search needs
If you sell on another platform today, a move to Shopify can keep your search traffic if the redirects are done right. We map every old URL to its new one, move product data and customer records you are entitled to move, and check Google Search Console after launch.
If you are starting fresh, we plan collections and product pages around the words buyers use, in both languages. Then we link the store to your Google Business Profile and WhatsApp, so the same customer who finds you on Maps can also order online.
When Shopify, or a Dubai agency, is not the right choice
Shopify is a strong fit for most stores selling physical goods with clear products and prices. It is a weaker fit if you mainly sell through marketplaces, need deep custom pricing for each trade customer, or run a service business with bookings rather than products. In those cases we will say so, and may suggest a custom build or a different tool.
And if you want someone in your warehouse for a week, or at your photo shoot, a Dubai-based agency is the better choice. We work remotely, and we would rather tell you now than disappoint you in month two.

Your data
Personal data and a team in India
The UAE has a federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and some free zones, such as DIFC and ADGM, have their own data protection rules. Which applies depends on where your business is registered.
- We write down which personal data we would see, where it is stored and who has access, and agree it in writing.
- We work inside your accounts and tools, so the data stays under your control, and you can remove our access.
- For WhatsApp and email marketing, we build consent capture into the workflow. You stay responsible for who you message.
- Websites and consent wording can be built in both Arabic and English.
This is plain-language information about how we work, not legal advice. Please have your own adviser check what applies to your business.
How we contract
Clear terms, before you spend anything
The commercial side in plain words. The full wording is in our terms, and your proposal sets the details.
- A written proposal comes firstScope, deliverables, milestones, price and timeline, in writing. Work starts when you accept it.
- The price does not moveOnce agreed, the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. Changes to scope are quoted as a written change request and only built once you approve them.
- You pay by milestoneProjects are paid in milestones set in your proposal. No project is billed in full upfront. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless your agreement says otherwise.
- You own the workCode, designs and accounts are registered to your company from day one. We keep our own pre-existing tools and methods.
- No lock-inEither side can end a project with written notice, and you pay for the work done up to then. Retainers run month to month with 30 days written notice.
- 30 days of fixes after launchDefects in what we delivered are fixed for 30 days after launch. New features and third-party changes are quoted separately.
Quick answers
About cost and timing
The things people ask right after they see a price.
Our Starter store is from AED 6,000, with up to 50 products. Growth stores run from AED 15,000 to AED 35,000, and Premium builds from AED 35,000 to AED 90,000 and above. Shopify's own plan and any app subscriptions are extra and billed to you. We put the full price in writing before we start.
It depends on product count, languages, migration and integrations. A simple store can go live in a few weeks, and a bilingual migration with several integrations takes longer. We give you a dated plan with the quote, and the biggest delay is usually product photos and descriptions arriving late.
Those options exist in the UAE, and we can set up the ones you choose, if your chosen provider supports them with Shopify. You open the accounts and we connect them. We test each method with real orders before launch. We do not choose providers for you, and fees are agreed between you and them.
We set up the store so tax lines and invoice details can show what your accountant tells us to show, and we test a sample order for them. We do not give tax advice. Please confirm the rules and invoice wording for your business with your own accountant before launch.

Dubai & UAE FAQ
Questions about Shopify development in Dubai & UAE
Cost, timing, trust and ownership, answered before you ask.
Still have a question?
Thirty minutes with us usually answers everything, including whether we are the right fit.
Yes. We use a theme that handles right-to-left layout, set up both languages and check the cart, checkout pages, filters and emails. We recommend that a native speaker reviews the Arabic product copy before launch, because tone and wording affect trust. We build that review into the schedule.
The ones you already use or choose, where an integration or app exists. We set up zones, rates and tracking links, and test an order end to end. Courier pricing, contracts and cut-off times come from the courier. If you have no courier yet, we list the questions to ask them.
You get senior developers at a price set for the UAE, with no Dubai office cost in the quote. Our hours of 09:00 to 21:00 India time equal 07:30 to 19:30 Dubai time, so you reach us for your full day. The limit is that we work remotely, with no in-person visits.
You do. The Shopify account, domain, payment accounts and customer data sit in your company name, with us as a staff user. Custom theme code we write for you is yours. If you stop working with us, you keep everything and can hand the store to another developer.
Yes. We move products, collections and the customer data you are allowed to move, then map old URLs to new ones with permanent redirects so search traffic is protected. After launch we check Search Console for errors. Migration sits in the Growth tier, which runs from AED 15,000 to AED 35,000.
